Bought some Old Navy drawstring joggers & didn't want to bother tying & untying them constantly so I picked these up & slipped them on. They work great and the black paint is still holding strong after multiple trips through the washer & dryer.

Love that these are metal and not just painted to look that way. The only issue I have is that they can be hard to press sometimes, like something in the mechanism gets caught. But other than that they work well, look great and have plenty strength for leather pouches.

Good item to use for shoe laces, swim trunks, and sweat pants. Easy to lace through and cinch.

For our application the internal spring was not strong enough to keep the pull string from expanding.
