Very useful!—easy to make minor adjustments to bridge with this. If you’re handy at all, no reason to wait for your luthier to do it, just be conservative in your adjustments.

My cello string lifter arrived with no damage to the packaging material, but was missing one of the rubber foot pads! It was not in the shipping bag. How do you overlook something like that? Also, the threads on the string lifting portion are so tight that is it impossible to turn the thumb screw without tools. All of this makes this tool completely useless. I contacted the seller several times, received one reply, but after that the email became "undeliverable". Not a good sign. I have filed a complaint and request for refund through Amazon; we will see if that works. Don't waste your money on this cheap Chinese crap. My German made string lifters are perfect.
