I installed this yesterday. I had to buy a keyboard shelf that is smaller than typical because of the legs of my office table; there's no room for a mouse, but I am fine with that being on my work surface. It's a solid piece of work. I didn't have any trouble assembling it. I appreciate the generous capacity of the clamps. My table is not only smaller, but it's thicker than usual, and there is plenty of breadth in the sturdy clamps.I've only been using this for a day, but I'm quite pleased. I had specific limitations, and this works out just perfectly.

I have a setup that uses a laptop and an extra monitor behind it, and wanted a way to keep my full-sized keyboard accessible without having to balance it on top of the laptop.I've been wary of under-desk keyboard trays because all the desks I've seen that had one installed wound up holding the keyboard on my knees. But as my desk if fairly high, I decided to try it out.Setup is overly complicated for such an item. Why does the board come in two pieces? Shipping is calculated by weight, so you're actually losing by having to include the connection hardware...The "leather" pull strap is completely unnecessary. You'd be better off with a small groove on the underside, but even that's redundant since I wind up pulling the tray by hand anyway. To tp it, the screws used to attach the strap are too sharp, and easily screw too deep - leaving a bump in the upper surface.Usage-wise, as others have said and shown, the tray wobbles when it's pushed in or out, and skews very easily. The gliding mechanism inside doesn't move smoothly enough, and "catches" as you move the tray. If that would at least prevent the tray from sliding in when bumped, it could be overlooked, but it doesn't help, so it's just an annoying issue. As almost everyone else writes, the tray is too small to fit a mouse unless you're using a tiny keyboard. That means I need to reach over to my desk, where my mousepad rests right over the clamp and the mouse has less room to move because it bumps into it as well - so I need to keep the mouse even further away from the desk edge and reach even deeper...As far as ergonomics, though, I find that it sits the keyboard at a very good height for me, so when I get into some long stretches of typing, it's comfortable and my arms don't cramp up.So it's kind of a toss-up. As I said: OK minus...

The tray is well built and came with everything needed to be assembled. The assembly took only about 10 minutes or so, and then it was ready. The motion of the tray was good until I actually attached it to the desk. I am not sure if I did anything wrong when I situated it under the desk, but the tray did not move as smoothly as it did before installing it. It required a bit of force to pull out. Overall it is good quality, I just wish it was a smoother operation.

This product is absolutely not worth the money. I was really excited to order this item to get some space back on my desk, but was very disappointed when the product arrived. One of the selling points in the description is a generous keyboard area with ample room for a mouse. As you can see from my photos, if I have a keyboard and mouse on it, both hang out over the edge. I have a normal sized keyboard and mouse. The material is awful for the keyboard, as it slides around. My wrist pad also slides around very easily. Since the mouse does not fit on the drawer, I have to move my hand constantly to 2 different heights when I change from keyboard to mouse, and vice versa. It is very uncomfortable to use in this way. I will be removing this item because of the discomfort it causes.Additionally, the claps are too short to attach completely secured to my desk. My desk has a support beam that goes under the front part of the desk. As you can see in my final photo, the clamp is too short to attach past the beam, and less than half of the clamp can attach to the support beam. The only positive things I can say about this product are that it was easy to install and the glider works well. If it wasn't for this, I would have only given the product 1 star.

Pretty solid so far, I’m happy with it. I’ll update if anything changes, but it’s looking good at the moment.

I wasn't sure what to expect with this pull out keyboard tray, but what I got has been awesome so far! I've been using this tray for 3 days now and I'm so glad I finally tried this kind of solution to help my shoulder pain. I can now sit with my elbows tight to my sides and the shoulder pain is gone!!! The only time I feel that pain now is if I deviate from my new, ergonomically correct position I've discovered with this new keyboard tray. The box arrived and it was heavy, so I thought this tray it might be bulky, but it's not at all. I'm a smaller person (5'4"), so the tightening knobs on either side don't get in my way at all, but a large person may find themselves bumping into them, which could hurt. So far, the only thing lacking for me is a non-slip pad to use under my keyboard so it doesn't slide around so much, but that's an easy fix. I do like that the keyboard tray is smooth, even around the edges. My hands don't catch on anything and the front sloped edge keeps the palms of my hands from resting uncomfortably on a hard edge. I'm really surprised an happy to find that this tray seems to be just what I needed, and I'd recommend it to others with similar needs!
