I was surprised by how much I liked this slot cutter; it cuts very clean slots, and does so nearly effortlessly. I can't speak to how well it holds up, having only used it for one project, but so far at least it has surpassed by expectations.

Need it to make a channel in some wood to hold a panel for a cabinet door. Cut the channel just fine. Did have a little tear out as I came out of the wood, but just a little. My 1/4 inch plywood panel is a bit loose fitting since this is a 5/16 high bit. 1/4 inch plywood was more like .21 so a 1/4 high bit might have been better. I'm doing chalkboard paint on the panel so hoping that will snug it up a bit, but it fits fine just a little loose. Given the humidity swings, I don't want to glue the panel in place. We'll see how the finished product turns out, but this bit did its job. No idea on longevity of it. I do DIY projects and won't be using it on a daily basis.

I needed a slot cutting bit for some joinery I was working on and found this one. None of the local big box stores had it but somehow Amazon got it to me the next morning. How does that happen? It did a great job and although I haven't used it a lot yet, it seems to be holding its edge well. We'll see how durable it is. For the price a very fair deal.

I bought this to put a slot in the bottom ofBarn doors. After mounting the glide it fits nicely in the slot I made. Hindsight I would get the 1/4 inch bit. A looser fit. After this one dulls I will get the 1/4

I needed a bit to slot composite boards. I'd never heard of this brand, but it was the right size, and it was cheap. I figured it would gum up and be ruined and I'd have to finish the job with a different bit, but it wouldn't waste a lot of money. I was wrong. It cut smooth as butter, it cut clean, sharp edges, and after cutting about 700' of board, it still looks brand new! Worth every penny, and I'll be sticking with this brand.

At 18$CAD it was perfect for me. I had to make a few 1/8" slots for a project and it got the job done easily, without tear out or burning etc.I have no idea how long the bit will stay sharp for, but i didn't want to pay big bucks for potentially a one time use bit. It seems as sharp as before my project anyway so probably fine for a bunch more projects at least

Came well packaged and speedily. Bits are sharp and decent slots with minimal tear out. Other 1/4" Yonico I have last well compared to my Trend 1/4" more expensive ones, used about the same but the Trend round over blew the bearing.

Was well balanced and didnt have any shake. I had to pull the bit farther out than the minimum line to use. Still worked great.
