On first cut (using pine) huge vibration; turned out that a chunk of carbide broke off. Happily, it sailed across the shop, rather than into me.Also bits do not match, so joints do not match. Not usable, not safe to use.

For the price the joints fit flawlessly.however you must dowel or make a floating tenon to create a strong joint.Perfect for repairing or replacing windows on your old house. The down side: When using a shaper table. The material must be sized perfectly. Because the stiles are shaped from the front and the rails are shaped from the back so if not aligned perfectly the joint will be very out of alignment. With better quality bits all machining takes place from the front of the work piece making for perfect aligning joints even if material thickness varies.all missalignments are on the back of the work. You also cannot create tenons with these bits. However for the occasional window maker they are priced just right.

Using to make replacements for some rotted muntins in my 107 year old wooden windows. Not a perfect match but close enough.

With the help of a table saw I was able to get my muttin close to the original as I needed. Bits came in a nice very nice box and were packaged well. Very sharp as they should be. I can't say how long the edge will hold up for as I didn't need that many feet. I also did this freehand which I do not recommend, but it was good enough for what I needed. Yes that's mahogany!

Spend a little more and get a set that will do a good job. The profiles do not match up and its impossible to get a good fitting joint no matter how much you try.

I got this to build a window sash so we could have an extra window in our kitchen. After pricing replacement windows from name brand window places and talking to local craftspeople, I decided to do this myself. This bit made creating a replica of our 80 year old home's original windows pleased me. The bit is sturdy, good 1/2" shaft, is adjustable, and sharp!Made a new window a breeze.

Can’t do a tenoned window with this set if they’d made them with a removable bearing post on the male bit it would have done both tenoned and dowelled Windows

I needed these bits to build a old Sach widow and they worked perfectly for what I bought them for. Especially the price. Very good quality for the price.

I cut off most of the bearing post using a hacksaw while protecting the cutting edge by using a thin piece of wood with a hole matching the post size drilled through it. I then used a grinder to remove remainder of post so that it was below the cutting edge and flush with the top of the yellow body. The bit and post appear to be milled from a single piece. Balance of bit was good following post removal. Be careful not to damage the carbide cutting edges.
