I found my yoshi to be rather loud. I installed this and it did quiet it down to a much better noise level.

i must have had an older model and it didnt fit in the exhaust hole

As per all Yoshimura products, it's a work of art. My DRZ400S - RS2 exhaust was missing this part from a previous owner. Fit perfect and reduces the bark with no power loss. Not loud enough to get evil stares but still has a cool sound. Legalizes my bike for State and National Forrest's.
