Cuts easily with kitchen shears. After I cut one to the size of the planter, I use it with lawn staples to prevent soil erosion from watering. Water soaks in and soil doesn't run downhill.

I bought these for a 2 long baskets that hang on our deck railing. We had terrible time cutting these to fit properly. We made them work but we will buy the ones that are already formed next time.

I'm building a turtle basking dock and wanted something other than fake grass or something plastic.I came across a few coco coir mats but wasn't taken as they were thin.These mats are perfect. About half a cm thick and quite soft for coco coir. Perfect for lining the basking docks to keep them safe from scratches and the fibres are great for their little feet to grip on to.

Worked well to make a new insert for my wire hanging plant holder. Was able to cut it to the right size.
