Great for ice skating lessons for my 5 year old! Fit great, bottom pad is really only big enough for tail bone but that was fine for us. She wore these under her pants/leggings

My son is 9 years old and according to the sizing chart, he will need a youth XL. This doesn't make any sense because all of his wardrobe is usually a youth M. Well, I've come to learn that when you order products from overseas, you have to size up and most of the time it's two sizes! I'm glad I did because the largest size they offered (youth XL) is what fit him. When I say "fit", I mean it loosely - well, in this case, tightly. The pants are way too small on my son. He is by no means a big child, a husky or a super skinny child; just average. These pants awkwardly fit on his body. The bottom area does not cover the bottom. It is cut way too short so the pants are sitting on half his butt instead of on his lower back. The padding on the knees are placed on his thighs instead of his actual knees. The fabric seems to be a good stretch but other than that, I don't see the real purpose of these pants other than it was made without thought.

For a youth XL, these are really small and would fit probably an 8 year old at max. The padding in the back isn't really that ample, small area just enough to barely cover the tailbone. Better quality out there in my opinion.

I got this for my 5 years old niece who is just starting to learn to ice skate. It provides some padding on the buttocks, but not a full butt coverage. It has padding where the coccyx is and at the knees. The compression is nice. It needs to be compression so that the padding stays in all the right places. If it was looser, I think the padding would slide around.

These capri leggings with knee and butt pads left me truly disappointed. Despite ordering a size up, the material and sizing were far from satisfactory; they were still too tight, and I wouldn't recommend them, especially if your child is on the taller side.

These were not at all what I was expecting. Fit was not at accurate either as they are definitely smaller than expected, so probably size up, if you do decide to continue with this product. Material is also very thin and cheaper feeling.

My so. should be brand ambassador for this. Love them and my son feels so safe when playing basketball . Wear and tear will happen in game but they hold well.

Ordered both a Large and X large child and the XL wouldn’t go over the hip. The xL may fight a child who wears an 8/10 at best.

You bought these for my grandchild, who plays basketball. He is a medium in size and he couldn't get them up over his hips. We will repurchase an extra large. He loved them but was very disappointed. He couldn't have them right away. We will send them back in for a new size.
