Update: After messing with this thing for several weeks I find it to be completely unreliable. It'll read great one day and the next day it will vary between showing zero MPH and 15 MPH. I don't know if the cell phone that I carry interferes with the wireless signal or what but this thing does not work well at all. What I wrote below was how I felt in the middle of my trials.The physical installation is not difficult - tie wraps and such. No big deal. What is difficult is working out the distances along with the particular configuration of your bike.The distance from the computer to the sensor is critical. You get beyond or even close to the 60cm distance from the computer to the sensor and you will get very erratic readings or no readings at all. Same with the 3mm distance between the sensor and magnet. 3mm is about 1/8 of an inch!I have a trail bike with wide forks. That presented an issue in getting the sensor close to the magnet AND also having the sensor not too far away from the computer. I had to try about 8 or 10 configurations where I finally ended up with the sensor tie wrapped on the INSIDE of the fork up close to the brakes (had to keep within the 60cm distance from sensor to computer) which allowed me to get the sensor and magnet within the 3mm distance as well.Once I got those distances happy and figured out how to mount the sensor in the wide fork spacing, everything worked great! Nice features on the computer and you can tune the wheel diameter to get the mileage distance more accurate.

These are pretty cool I got like six bikes got one on every bike no complains if you are manual pedal fewer electric a few are gas powered the gas powered ones have to have a direct wire running down to the sensor the wireless ones pick up the spark plug fire and will throw you off might be going 20 mph just sitting an idling

The bike computer was delivered quickly in new condition in a well-organized package. I only gave 4 stars as the instructions are a bit vague, resulting in two installation errors on my part that may seem common sense once you know. :-) Firstly, battery is required to be installed in both the computer AND the sensor (per the overlooked but vague instruction "And push the sensor cover install the battery in .") Secondly, the sensor should be mounted on the front side of fork with the striped wider side (with strongest magnetic field) facing the spokes. While this is illustrated in the instructions, the second inset illustration makes it look like the short side (that should be facing forward in front of the spoke) is facing the magnet. Otherwise, making the computer setting and installing the system is pretty easy and straightforward. It would be nice to have an on/off switch to save battery life and a back light on/off switch to be able to turn the back light on (rather than the 4 second illumination per button press). Overall, this wireless speedometer and odometer is a good value as it offers a lot of functionality for the money.

YouTube saved the day for instructions. No user friendly, not even for these YouTubers, but it's 80% programed for what I need.

It was very easy to set up and install the unit on my bike. I had an older one that broke, so I was used to how they work, but also had some old routes that I used, and the mileage was the same, so I would say that the accuracy is good. It is a smaller device than the previous one, but the display is bright and easy to read. Switching between screens is a push of a button, so no issues scrolling through the different screens.

I got this as a Christmas gift and liked it so much I bought one for my husband and recommended it to a friend. Easy to install. I had to google wheel circumference for my bike as my tire size was not on their chart in the directions included. I did find that when I left it on my bike outside under 40 degrees it had condensation on the screen. I can easily remedy this by unclipping monitor from base and keeping it indoors during colder months. The extra button battery included was an added bonus.

Turns itself off when not in use to save battery life. Light weight , easy to read. Easy to set up. Lots of information besides the Mph/Kph.

Easy to install, precise, all the required modes are there including current time. Automatic start/stop. Everything is included. Choice of colors is a plus too. Won't register speed or distance below 40°F, this is annoying! One day delivery.
