I thought it was leather. It is not. I'll give it a 5 star because it is so good even if it isn't leather. It fits my dog perfectly and it is comfortable for me too. It is easy to carry and I love that I can put my hand in and touch him and sooth him while he is in there. It is sturdy and soft and well made and the very wide strap is just lovely.I wouldn't make him walk around traffic or where there are too many people, but with this bag I can carry him comfortably. It is perfect. At first he tried to stand inside of the bag and it was not good, but he learned in just one day to just sit on all fours and we are off. He used to sit under my desk while I worked but now I can place him in the bag on my lap, zipper open and he'll nap while I type away. Cool Bag

I love that my pup does not get hot in this carrier. She loves it and will even request to get in it. It’s her happy spot. The carrier is super comfortable for me. And my phone fits perfect in the pocket on the strap (in the medium size). I have had three of these. I had a medium, ordered a small and loved it, but my phone did not fit as well in the small. So when is it began to show wear, I ordered another medium. They have added a ring to hook keys on and a zipper pocket that is great for petting my fur baby. I rate this carrier a 10. If I could make it better, I would add about pocket for a credit card or key fob above the other pocket. I would also have two zipper, on of petting and another for change, dog treats or whatever. That would make it a 11 or 12. my pup would fSit in this all day, if I’d let her. It so nice to beAble to carrier her and be hand free. #EXCELLENT PRODUCT#excellentvalue#willpurchaseagain

My husband saw someone with this carrier and asked where they purchased it. I wanted to love it but it was not a good fit for our small dog. He couldn’t get comfortable in it and was determined to try to stand up in it. This was a medium so perhaps a small would have been better. Ended up with another pet sling.

This is the most well constructed and comfortable carrier I’ve ever found for a small dog. Our little yorkie loves it so much she twirls when she sees it and jumps right in! It has a full length easy in/out zipper with a Velcro tab to ensure it stays closed, and a very comfortable adjustable neck hole. The over the shoulder strap is very comfortably padded and adjustable to fit my 6-2 husband as well as me at 5-7. The material breathes for warm weather and is very soft. The only thing it needs is something to keep the bottom flat. We inserted a firm foam piece cut from an old carrier pad that works like a charm. One could just as easily use a small towel or folded blanket although something firmer holds the bottom more open and gives our pup a comfortable place to stand or sit. Her head pops out of the neck hole and we’re off to the park…A+++!

I needed something to put my 9lb pomchi in while riding my bicycle. This fits perfect. I have another sling bag for walking around, but too loose for a bicycle. It snug and tight, she would've fit the medium size perfectly, but I don't want her wiggling around on bike rides, so I got the small instead. She has no wiggle room, but I intended for it to be that way. Wish the strap was more adjustable, but it works fine, I won't be butting into her with my legs while paddling, being that the bag rests on my side.
