I ordered this yukata 1 Set Stainless Steel Sampling Spoons to use when mixing up alternative process photography chemicals.I do a lot of alternative process photography that requires me to mix various powdered chemicals togther. Some of these chemicals are quite toxic, so I hesitate to use any of my kitchen equipment. To complicate matters, some of the chemicals are used in extremely small amounts, making it hard to move them from narrow-necked bottles to my scale without removing too much and then risking contamination by returning the excess to the bottle. These sampling spoons are just what I needed. The spoons are thin enough to fit into narrow-neck bottles. The smallest spoon is excellent for transferring very tny amounts (about .1 g). My only criticism of these spoons is that they are made of quite thin gauge metal, so it is easy to bend them by mishandling.
