This tool worked perfectly to open our locked car door. Extremely durable, easy to use! If you don’t have small detail dexterity that would be the only drawback as the pieces have to be screwed into each other and it is a small piece.

very versatile, extremely good for what I bought it for, unlocking car doors. this and an air wedge kit saved me probably more than 100 bucks. I did need to bend the top section to make it have a better range of motion, that being said it works like a charm now.

I ordered it so i would have it when needed and it failed me miserably. The rods dont connect to one another with out a coupler and that apprlarently was lost in packaging or shipping so when i needed this tool the most it failed.

I locked my keys in my work truck and had to pay over a hundred dollars to get it opened plus had to wait on the guy for about an hour. When he got there he used the exact same thing to open my truck. I bought this and I have helped several other people for free so they’re not in the same situation I found myself in. It works great. I recommend it for anyone and everyone.

I got this tool on a lightning deal for a little over $18. It's pretty basic and simple to put together. It comes with the 4 rods consisting of the handle, bent end, and two straight. It also comes with 4 threaded connectors, which only 3 are needed for the entire length of the tool, so either they provide a spare or I just got lucky. The part that makes no sense are the two little wrenches that are provided for supposedly tightening the rods and connectors. There are no indentations on the rods or connectors where the wrench will fit and the diameters of both the rods and connectors are larger than the wrench opening. So the wrenches are useless for this tool but I kept them for other uses. The only thing I'm not overly crazy about is how much the tool seems to wobble when the whole thing is put together and everything is tight, but it will still serve it's purpose. Overall it's a decent basic tool and it will come in handy at some point.

I was skeptical of this before buying, but wanted to have one if needed, as I have needed one in the past. Well, it arrived and within a week I ended up having to use it. I like that you can assemble it to the length that you need, and the joints are quite rigid when assembled. I did need, or tried to use, the included wrench to disassemble one of the joints when I was done even though I only hand tightened it to put it together. I found the wrench to be sloppy on the joint and instead used a pair of pliers to undo the connection. Otherwise, it seems well made. Just carry some other tool to connect/disconnect the joints as needed.
