Dana 30 Carrier is exactly as described with 0 run out. It was priced fairly and arrived quickly. Necessary if you plan to install gears numerically higher than 3.73 in a jeep that came with 3.55 or numerically lower gears stock.

The easy to install part of this is...setting up a Dana 30 front end isn't easy to do at all. Ever.

Fits but you have to dremel the center pin hole the slightest bit have had it for 6 months now tho and it’s fine

I installed new 4.56 gears in my 92 YJ, and could not shim factory carrier enough to get within specs. By replacing the carrier with this one, I was able to shim to specs in just a couple of tries. 0.002" from dead center.

Don't do reviews often but hopefully i can save someone else from my costly troubles, after discovering my 4.88 gears were installed on a lower numerical carrier i ordered this to make my new setup right. The cross pin did not fit, i opened the hole a couple thousands and pin seemed to fit well so i threw it together. On my first outing i broke the cross pin in my locker that i had ran for 7+years with no issues. When i tore it down i discovered the pin had wiped out my brand new gears, as well as my locker. The pin seems tight when in both sides but has tons of play when in only one side. This allowed pin to flex and break. I should have gotten a different carrier when i noticed pin didn't fit, but yukon should have quality control. Do not buy this and get a spicer carrier. Now I'm $500 extra in a gear set that should be done.

Also bought a Yukon spider kit with new shims and pin and the pin did not fit the carrier. Had to grind the hole slightly larger to make it fit. Not sure if its the pin that is too large or the carrier hole is too small.
