May be fine for indoors, but using it outside while playing volleyball did not go very well. We had it by one of the posts and if I wasn't in the closest position to it, the remote would not work consistently. I doubt the functioning distance claimed. The screen is fairly bright, but not as bright as I would have liked.

I attached some Velcro to this and use it on my home basketball goal. My driveway is setup like a half court, so i have some pretty intense games against my younger cousins. This score keeper keeps my younger cousins from cheating me with the score.This is very easy to use. I never had to look at the manual in order to use majority of the features. I have this on Velcro strips so that i can easily remove it from behind the glass backboard as i do not think it will hold up well in all weather conditions. It is large enough to see from any area in my driveway and bright enough to be visible in midday sun.

Too small for a larger gym. Does not work like I thought it would.
