Poor quality. The buttons that change the score no longer function. I’ve had this for a little over one month and only used it three times.Update: the company has since reached out and replaced the item. Very good customer service and happy with the replacement! The scoreboard is exactly what I was looking for and the replacement works perfectly!

The neighborhood kids all play basketball and this is magnetic. It sticks to the hoop poll and they can easily update it for each bucket.

Me and my kids love playing Basketball, Corn Hole, and Boccie ball but always had trouble remembering score so when I saw this item it required no brain to know I needed to try it out!The box opening revealed a very nicely packaged item that I would equate to an i device packaging which presents you with a feeling of receiving a very nice product. There is a protective screen cover within a protective sleeve placed into a form fitted internal box tray and the tray is a nice stiff cardboard with a slip over cover and tray. I am sure this could withstand some carelessness during travels.Initial IssuesWhen plugging in to charge it comes on immediately, the screen was cycling on/off sporadically with moving it around while charging and continued after finished fully charging (About 3-4 hours as indicated). Before it was fully charged at the beginning I surmised that the flickering was due to low battery however something was loose inside either the battery pack or the magnet and as it moved around it would cut off then back on. I knew it wasn't supposed to do that because when I went into Edit mode for the countdown timer as I was adjusting the time it would cut off again and when it came back on I was not in edit mode and had to start over. The second issue I had was the Edit button kept getting stuck and wouldn't click to release.I got my hands on another unit and nothing was moving around in this one and the battery charge took much longer but I was using a different slower charge brick port which is to be expected. This timer functioned perfectly with the exception of the edit button sticking. None of the other buttons would stick, just the edit button. After lightly tapping on the unit and moving the edit button around by pushing in different directions it finally unstuck. I repeated pressing (stuck again) moving and pushing (unsticking) until it became less prevalent and sticking less until it stopped altogether. The magnet it strong enough to feel safe placing the timer on the middle of my garage door while playing basketball. The screen is bright and the touch buttons work very well and the sound is loud enough, however, I find it weird to have a combination of physical and touch buttons. For the most part this is a cool, unique little scoreboard that works perfectly for me. I am an avid sports board game player - primarily football (having invented my own leagues and teams, similar to APBA and Strat-o-matic). I play each game using the scoreboard next to me. I especially love the timing feature for length of the game, and use the 2 smaller numbers in the middle for time outs. One issue I do have (which several other reviewers have previously mentioned) is the style of push buttons at the top of the unit tend to stick, and the power shuts on and off. Of course this is quite annoying and it actually just started happening (but only within 2 months of purchase, way too soon to have problems). I decided to buy another one of the same scoreboards just in case I got a bad one; let's hope that works (haven't tried it yet). I also purchased another small scoreboard (waiting to receive) that just has the 2 scores (no timing feature), but those numbers are a bit larger and also the scoreboard comes with a remote which I'm sure I'll like. I will review that one once I receive it and have used it a few times.

My boys love playing 1v1 basketball against each other in the driveway. This was the perfect gift for them. It has a scoreboard, game clock, and wins counter. It is very easy to use and has a magnetic backing so they just attach it to the basketball goal's pole. I would recommend this product.
