Unlike what some other reviewers have stated, I found this material and adhesive to be one of the best and easiest I've used for this type of pinstripe application.Just be careful to not make mistakes because there's not much extra length, for sure. I had to toss one section out due to my own planning error, and only had inches to spare on a midsize truck.I'm really glad I went with the chrome despite some negative reviews, because the effects are awesome depending on the different ambient light conditions. Sometimes the stripes blend in with my paint, sometimes, there is a stark contrast and looks much darker. Keeps things interesting.

I had my pick up repainted and needed to put the pin striping back on. This was on Amazon at a good price. Purchased it. My son helped hold the tape as we stretched it and stuck it on the truck. Has been holding well and glad of the purchase.

I put this tape on a bland white Dodge van to give it some character. The application process was easy. The only problem/question that came up was when I had the vehicle hand waxed, by someone else. The wax seemed to not be easy to wipe away around a lot of the tape leaving black around it. When I went to rub the black off, the top plastic covering came off. So, I'm wondering if I was supposed to remove the plastic when I put on the tape. I will see what happens in the future. The tape has been on my vehicle for five months. There have been no problems with the tape coming off when going through the automatic car wash or when drying it. My main complaint is that I wanted the tape in pink but had to settle for blue! If they come out with pink I will purchase it and replace the blue with it.

Pretty silver stripes, easy to apply, but doesn't stick well, and I used them on freshly painted and dry cupboard doors inside my house. I have had to add glue to hold edges down. I can't imagine that they would stick well on a car outdoors.

We will see if it holds up. I prepped surface with actual prepsol (professional painting surfe prep solvent) the pin stripe started to lift up at the edges. It was cool and I taped ends down to see if it would stick down once in the sun and warned up. Will update.Update: after car body warning and sitting in the sun the pinstrip has stuck nicely. It's been through automated car wash several times and as not lifted.

Only buy if you enjoy toughing things you buy directly in the trash. I've never seen such crappy stripes, they are uneven to each other (stripes were touching each other in spots), have jagged cuts, bad splicing, kinks all throughout, and extreme changes in thickness. they do stick ok, but the only problem with that is you have to peel them off because you will not be able to live with yourself if you leave them on! I'm a professional and couldn't get them looking right, I feel bad for any armature who attempts to use these.
