Didn’t actually expect to get four of these… but did. Ports seem study and ribbon cables are nice and flexible. Bracket is a decently thick metal bracket and seams plenty sturdy. Got these to just have the serial port on my PC if needed. I can’t for the life of me figure out why a gaming oriented motherboard from 2021 has a serial port header on the board but it does and I see a COM port listed in device manager… gonna geek out with some retro serial port action… as much as windows 11 will tolerate anyway 😂. I guess my only complaint is the motherboard header isn’t keyed so it can be connected backwards.

These were the least expensive option. I was initially worried about that, but they fit my motherboard headers and the external serial ports talk to my giant UPS. All good, and the price was right.

Customer needed serial connection on a new machine. These plug right into a new motherboard for a serial port. Worked great.

This 4-pack is an awesome deal considering other seller's are selling 1 for just about the same price, plus having plenty of ribbon cable to reach the mainboard connection. It was also delivered in just a couple days! I didn't need 4 of them but couldn't pass up such a great deal with fast shipment. Keep up the good work!

The adapters arrived exactly as pictured. Unlike other reviewers, I haven't encountered any issues with bending of the face-plate or breakage of the socket itself. The ribbon cable is a bit thin and could potentially break if you bend it too much, but it connected easily and works well so far.

C'è poco da dire, ebbene si' esistono ancora delle periferiche (industriali soprattutto) che vanno ancora con la vecchia porta seriale. Allora giù è un problema cercare una scheda madre che ancora la presenti su scheda, ma poi non ti ci mettono il connettore esterno, per cui eccoci qui al prodotto, semplice ma indispensabile in queste occasioni...

Précédente évaluation bloquée par amazon. Pourtant elle ne faisait que montrer la connexion à un vieux PK232 via le COM1 de ma carte mère en utilisant ce câble. Sûrement une IA qui ne comprends rien. Donc connexion série sans problème, ce câble évite l'utilisation d'un convertisseur USB-RS232. Fonctionne sans problème avec PuTTY ou Invite de Commande avec la commande Plink -serial COM1. Je recommande
