I bought this from Amazon (not from another marketplace seller), and it is a genuine Zen Water product. These are the same mineral stones that come with the water dispensers and that you can buy directly from Zen.The stones help to mineralize the filtered water and according to the Zen Water website help keep the water clean. They aren't a mandatory part of the Zen Water experience, but they add magnesium and zinc and help make the water taste really good. I boil mine every two weeks, and they seem to last just about forever.

I think these are knockoffs. The water tastes much more mineralogy than it used to. Strange. I’ll buy direct from zen water next time. However, I feel maybe the taste is just minerals m, I find the experience of my zen water less pleasant now.Update. March 2019. Took the stones out of plastic and boiled em several times since purchase. Throw away the plastic? Just put the rocks in the bottom of the tank gently.

This product fits perfectly on my LeDoux water system. Just put in cold water for 30 minutes. The stones will absorber water. After, wash in running water and put on the recipient.
