This is a great scrapbook. I was a little hesitant to buy it because picture can be deceiving but it’s great. The markers don’t bleed through the page. The only thing I didn’t like is that it was bent awkwardly so trying to glue stuff on can be a task.

Sturdy pages. Came with sticky corners to hold photos or postcards. I think it will work great for my travel journal.

I don’t use this as a scrapbook or photo album - I use it as a vision book. You’ve probably heard of vision boards, but I’ve been creating vision books for decades. They’re compact, hold many more images, and are easy to keep on my desk, where I can flip through them for weekly or daily inspiration. The first time I created a vision book was about 40 years ago when I was living in NYC. My career was just starting to take shape and I had managed (somehow!) to land a new job at a glamorous company, owned by a glamorous woman, in an industry filled with sophisticated, confident people. Oh…I felt like a fish out of water! To help me bridge the gap between where I was and where I wanted to be, I started cutting out magazine images that represented my dreams and goals. I glued them onto the pages of a book much like this one and referred to it often. Every several years, I would create a new vision book based on new goals and dreams. And over the years, I watched many pieces of my vision come to life. Now, in my mid-60s and at a new crossroads, I’m creating another vision book to chart the next chapter of my life. The process of refining my vision, selecting images, and carefully pasting them onto pages plays a significant role in solidifying that vision in my mind. (And there’s something childlike and joyful about cutting and pasting happy thoughts onto pages.) And this album is perfect for the task. It’s sturdy, with thick pages that hold up to glue sticks and lots of images from magazines and from my iPhone photos which I print and clip. The spiral binding is solid, making it easy to flip through, and the neutral tan cover is timeless. If you’re looking for a way to organize your goals, dreams, or inspirations, this book is a great choice. It’s practical, compact, and just the right tool to help turn visions into reality - no matter where you are in life.

This is a nice scrapbook with thick pages. The pages are made out of something that almost feels like cardstock. It is spiral bound, and it lays nice and flat. I got the book with the black cover, and the pages inside are black to match. There are 40 sheets, giving you 80 pages to scrapbook on. The pages are thick enough that you do not need to worry about glue or markers bleeding through.Because this one has black pages, you'll need to pick up some white or metallic markers to add any notations. It also comes with 4 sheets of sticker-type borders to embellish your clips. The cover is also plain black. It feels like it is made out of thicker, stiffer cardboard, so the same markers you use on the inside should work to embellish the cover, and stickers should also adhere well.I am not one of those "scrapbookers." I intend to use this for newspaper clippings, ticket stubs, and holding other mementos. These pages should be compatible with both glue sticks for my clippings, and those photo corner things for items I may want to be able to remove. It should also hold home printed things like photos on regular paper very easily, as well as photos that have been more professionally printed with things like corners or glue dots. This is a high quality item, especially at the price point. I am happy with this item, and I do recommend it. Just be aware when you are ordering one that the pages inside will match whatever cover color you choose, so select according to what color you want the inside pages to be vs. what color you want the cover to be. I chose black because it will provide a nice background contrast to the types of items I am planning on sticking inside.

I don't do much scrapbooking, but I had a need to use this product for a scrapbook I wanted to make, so I ordered it and was pleasantly surprised with just how durable it was. The cover and inside pages were made of very thick paper and seemed quite durable. I have no doubt they will last for quite a while without a problem. On the whole, it was easy to use and I feel very confident that it will last a good long while. I would definitely get another one of these if I found the need!
