This was easy to put together and is very light weight! The stand has held up well in all types of weather, and the hammock has survived my kitten scratching and playing with it! It comfortably fits two tall adults with a combined weight of roughly 350 lbs. It does wobble a bit if on a flat surface, but the flexibility is needed for it to sit well in grass!

Fun, relaxing, therapeutic (to me - I make no claims for anyone else). As I live in the North East and it is presently cold outside the hammock will remain indoors. It may stay there and I just may be forced to buy another for out of doors after having watched TV, read, and caused first laughter and then I think a bit of jealousy from my grown son and friends. Priceless even just for that. PS - I am quite weak (on disability) and other than needing help to arrange the parts was able to put the stand together without tools. Still advise the help of a second person on hand when putting the hammock on the stand (one time need for now) and first time or few learning how to best get in and out for you.My only complaint is the (per usual) poor documentation. Seek thee out YouTube on how to get in and out of a hammock and you should be fine.Merry New year and holidays to all.

This hammock is very sturdy and well made! It was easy to assemble. Follow the directions so that the hooks are facing the right direction. They should be on the outside of the frame and then the hammock ends loop over the frame and down to the hooks. The hammock holds up to 440 pounds but we did not test that. Both children and adults can get in and out of the hammock with no issues. You can lay across the hammock if you want to view the outside or lengthwise with the hammock if you want to be wrapped up like a cocoon. It comes with a carrying case so you can take it with you camping or another destination of your choice!

I like this but it's not for me. Thank goodness for Amazon Prime so I had the confidence to order this. I really need it but I've had to return it & I feel like I should report why in case my experience helps others. First, it's as described. Well made. Hammock fabric is soft. It is made of a an "earthy" cotton & the slings are made of macrame so it definitely has a hand made vibe. The frame went together easily & in about 10 mins. The instructions are brief but it's a simple concept. I followed the guidelines for hook placement and the hooks ended up being positioned exactly as shown in the photograph. Before I got in the hammock for the 1st time, I put a couple of thick couch cushions under it just in case.... I got in eaSily enough &lay down with had no balance or stability challenges. However, I could not get out & I'm strong & do yoga. I'm about 5'6" & normal weight. I think the way they show the model sitting in it would be about the only way for me to use it without assistance. Hats off again to Amazon's clear photos!

Great quality, design, so easy to set up and take apart all for a reasonable price. Loved it so much I bought another, thinking of giving a couple as gifts too. We have used them outdoors, just don't leave the hammock out all summer or winter, it will fade and the material won't be as sturdy. The set up is light enough that my 4 and 8 year were able to pull both into our living room to lay down and watch a movie, but sturdy enough to hold 6'2, 280 lb dad. Highly recommend.

absolutely love this. I've always wanted a hammock since my favorite aunt had one in her background when I was growing up as a kid. I always told myself this was a must have item in my house. And now that I have one its my go to spot to just chill and swing. My son loves it to. Its in my living room so its always cozy to sit in and watch tv. I assembled it myself. It took less that 30 mins. Nothing is too heavy and its a one person job. My second favorite thing about my house. (my projector is my first)

I've been searching for some sort of sleeping device to take with me on paintball trips. After running through the woods all day, lugging 20 pounds of gear, I want a decent night's sleep when I'm camping. Air mattresses deflate and are just bleah, foldable cots are wobbly and just aren't that comfortable, so, on the advice of a friend, I bought one of these.Holy cow. I slept like a brick in this thing! As did two of my teammates who, at various points of the day, went "hey, can I check out your hammock?"I might need to figure out what to do as far as keeping warm goes for the colder months (this weekend it was ~60 degrees overnight, so I just had a blanket over me), but if you're looking for a portable hammock...look no further!
