Well worth it for prevention or cure. Had 2-3 extension poles or broom handles that snapped off due to cheap plastic threaded inserts at the business end of the pole. These are metal and fit OVER the pole instead of INSIDE the pole. The combination of the meatal construction with the over-the-pole sleeve results is a much stronger joint that wont snap off when you put a little pressure on it. Rescued about $50-70 in broken paint roller extensions and broomsticks!

These are excellent replacement threaded tips to allow repair of tool and pole handles. The 3 sizes allow you to repair different sizes from 1/2 to 1' diameters. The option to use the rivets, screws or threaded bolt with nuts is a bonus so you can mount depending upon your specific needs. A fantastic price for less than $3.00 to fix expensive tools. It helps reduce waste fixing items instead of throwing them in the landfill.

I needed to repair apush broom handle. This worked great! Nice heavy metal. Easy to attach after sawing off broken end. Too big for regular brooms will be getting smaller diameter ones.
