As this is my first gimbal I hesitate to review the gimal on other than physical quality. it is well made and the controls are logical. In my limied use i've found it to work as designed. The videos are stable and it tracks the subject well. As for full funcionality I need time to learn to use the functions through experience and trial and error.

This gimbal stabilizer for cell phones comes with a really nice container to keep it safe. It's a good size and when it works, it's really cool. The problem is, it doesn't always work and it's really difficult to find really good documentation on how to use it. I downloaded the app and went through videos and read everything I could find. There are several buttons on this thing that I still don't know what they do and there are several buttons and knobs that don't actually do what they are supposed to do. I'm pretty frustrated with this. If I'm really delicate and patient, I can get some of the features to work. Often times, something will start working, like the smart tracking, and then the thing will crash or something and all the little motors and limbs just stop working and it flops down. The video will still be going and the app will be connected but the motorized parts just won't work. Overall, I'm really disappointed. I want it to work so badly, I may keep working with it to see if it's user error or if this thing really is just junk.**UPDATE**Changing from 2 stars to 3 stars. The seller contacted me and offered a full refund so I'm giving them an extra star for good customer support. Hopefully they aren't just responsive to bad reviews. Unfortunately they only offered a refund and not solutions to the problems.

I've been working my way through phone gimbals for ages now, trying to find the best.This Zhiyun tops the rest, easily.I use a Zhiyun gimbal professionally and always swear by them so this phone gimbal is no different. Easy instructions to follow if you haven't balanced one before and quick too. Battery life is excellent, beats all others by far.This is the only gimbal I have bought and used that doesn't tilt to one side when filming with the mobile phone in vertical mode, for reels etc. Perfectly plumb unlike pretty much all the DJI gimbals I've used before.Highly recommended!
