I received this in the full size about a week ago. The FedEx guy actually helped me push it into the front of my apartment which was nice of him, as it was quite heavy; fortunately I never had to lift it. I pushed the large box into the bedroom, cut the cardboard carefully with a scissor blade, lay it on its side and slid out the headboard. Sure enough, on the back there was a sticker saying to unzip it, that everything is inside. After taking stock of what was included, I started assembling the bed. It took me just about an hour or so to assemble. The included Allen ratchet was excellent; I don't think it explains, but you push the metal part in the middle to the right as you screw in the screw and then push that little metal part to the left to help release the ratchet from the screw. Once I figured this out, assembly was pretty straightforward; you just have to make sure you put in the parts labeled 1 and 2 on the correct sides of the headboard, plus notice that the side boards parts H and I are reversed on the left and right sides.As for how the bed looks, I think it is beautiful and looks like a more expensive bed. I lay my newly purchased 13" heavenly Avocado Green with Pillowtop mattress (highest rated in "Consumer Reports") on it to let it fully expand and in a short while was able to test out the bed. The bed frame was sturdy, even and didn't squeak when I tried bouncing on the mattress. I can lay my head on the headrest while sitting on the bed, and it feels nice, soft and padded against my head. It just looks like a real grown-up bed with the matching blue soft material on the footboard of the bed as well on the left and right sides in addition to the comfy headboard. I'm very pleased thus far and hope, based on some of the other reviews, that this bed will last for years to come. The Avocado Green people actually recommended, among a few places, that I look at Zinus for a bed frame, and I'm so pleased I found this one.Also, there's about 7 inches height of storage space underneath which gives me ample room for some long plastic 6 1/2 inch high Container Store storage on wheels which I had. Plus the headboard, now clear of all the bed parts it came with, can be a good storage spot for things you might want out of sight -- just make sure it doesn't interfere with the feel of the nice comfy padding material. So this is a very functional as well as beautiful piece of furniture, and I highly recommend it.

I read a lot of positive reviews about this bed, which was one of the reasons I purchased it. I'm glad I did. I'm absolutely shocked at the quality of this bed for the price. To clarify, one of the things I wanted to know before I bought it was the actual color. It is a true deep navy blue and it looks like linen. It's gorgeous. It does not look like blue jean material, as a couple people described it. Assembly was a breeze and it was only by picture. Not many parts and I believe you could put it together if you didn't have any instructions at all. Not a lot of pieces. The little bit of hardware there was, was nicely packaged. No tools required. The frame and assembly pieces are in the back of the head board, in a zippered pouch. Very cool idea! But what I was really pleased with, as I put the bed together was how sturdy everything was. Once the frame was put together I was really surprised to find that there were velcro strips on the rails and the slats are firmly stabilized once velcroed to the bed rails. The slats go from the headboard all the way to the footboard which is really great for a platform bed, especially since I bought a memory foam mattress, also by Zinus. I had a full bed with a Zinus mattress and bought one for my queen bed because they are incredible for the price, as well. I went with an 8-inch mattress for this bed so that a lot of the headboard can be seen. Even if I'd gone with a 10 inch mattress it still would leave a lot of headboard to look at which is nice. Anything thicker than that and a lot of the headboard would be lost. Once it was all put together, my next question was going to be how sturdy was the entire bed going to be? Would the headboard be moving back and forth or hitting the wall or moving around? Nope. Sturdy and solid. Same thing when I get in the bed, am laying in the bed or getting off the bed. It's been a couple of weeks and no bad news to report. Very happy with the purchase and highly recommend.

This was massive in the box and quite heavy to lug myself from the porch to the bedroom. So I got it inside and unpacked it to bring it piece by piece to the bedroom. Assembly was easy and took maybe an hour and a half. The color is true to the advertisement. It is sturdy and I feel secure on it. I like the height from the floor. It is a great deal for the money. And my cat likes the space on the headboard for sitting above me.

It was easy to put together for the most part, but the instructions labeled the parts as "A,B,C," etc and the actual parts were labeled "1,2,3" and so on. We figured it out, but that could be clearer. Otherwise, it seems sturdy and fits a queen mattress well. It comes with all the tools and screws that you need to assemble it.

Arrived on time and in great shape. I love the color and goes well with the room. It took less than an hour to assemble (one person....me). It looks nice and is very sturdy. Actually it is much better than I expected and I would buy it again in a heartbeat. I can't find anything negative to say about it!

This bed is so sturdy and good quality. The instructions are clear photos that are labeled, which makes it so easy to understand. It took me less than an hour to put together. I didn’t even need any tools, it came with what was needed. It’s not wobbly, and it looks like a more expensive bed frame.

Love these headboards from Amazon. I've bought 3 so far, and I will buy more because I just moved. So easy to assemble, look elegant, are practical and reasonably priced. Mattress sits on wood slacks that are firm and durable. No need for box spring.

I had read so many positive reviews about this bed, that I just had to try it. I purchased the navy queen bed frame and it was a BREEZE to assemble (late 30s lady assembled it no problem!). The company packaged this SO WELL. ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS AND PARTS LABELLED CLEARLY AND ZIPPED UP IN THE HEADBOARD! Makes it so easy to move as well. My casper mattress fits perfectly in here and I just LOVVVVVE how the slats are Velcro secured to the frame. They don't move, squeak or shift at all! Previous I have had Ikea bedframes where the slats are screwed in with a metal x stabilizer....hated hate it and it always ended up breaking. This bed is amazing. Looks so good assembled and just SMART design, production and assembly. Don't think, just BUY. Thank you Zinus for this wonderful bed and packaging! I will highly recommend it to friends and family.

Absolutely in love with this Bed Frame. After, no joke, around a week of daily searching for King sized frames that fit my budget OR offer my ideal style, I was burn out and stressed. Everything was either, a) very highly priced and not good looking enough to justify it or b) Really cheap and ugly, or just 'ok' looking'. I wasn't fully sold on this Zinus frame either. I thought it was nice, but didn't expect to be wowed. Furthermore I was worried about US reviews that mentioned Bed Bugs (even though it seemed like a regional warehouse issue).Well, I'm super glad I pulled the trigger on it. When it arrived I went over it with a fine tooth comb, a blue light and a torch, there was no sign of anything amiss and indeed, not a single flaw. I was blown away with this bed frame. I've bought a Queen bed frame at two times this price (in a local store) and it arrived in poor condition, damaged, not as nice as online and with very little slat support. This bed frame is METAL, not wood and the wooden slats it does have are very thick and numerous, they cover the whole base and give amazing support. There's even sound muffling to stop it squeaking (though you may hear the velcro moving occasionally.The quality of it is wonderful and in person the headboard doesn't look like denim (a worry of mine), but has a blue linen look that's really nice. Assembly is a dream. This is hands down the easiest bed assembly I've done and basically impossible to mess up. Simple, clear instructions.I can't think of a single negative and would heartily recommend it.

I love this bed frame. I bought a zinus mattress to go with it and it’s fantastic. All the parts are packed in the back of the headboard; I suggest you take them all out before you move it anywhere. Some of the cross supports were packed inside the wood slats (moment of panic when I couldn’t find them). Materials are sturdy and fit together nicely. Lining up the headboard legs and screws was tricky; I did it with a buddy and a headlamp to see the screw holes (the screws have to get through the upholstery before you line them up with the holes) this was the most frustrating part. But after that, assembly was easy. There is a QR code for an assembly video and a great ratcheting Allen tool. We sat on the wooden slats to pop them in perfectly! Sturdy, classy, and great quality.

Looks great, solid bed. 1 hour assembly. Great price.Only issue was Amazon shipping… first purchase ended up being delivered a week after the “guaranteed delivery dateâ€. I had contacted Amazon and they advised me it was probably lost, so refunded me and advised me to repurchase. I did repurchase and once again took 6 days beyond the guaranteed delivery. Purolator is a nightmare to deal with and couldn’t provide an estimated delivery date, claiming they needed to wait to have two drivers to take it out together as it was too heavy. Eventually it was delivered by a lone driver.Amazing refunded both my purchases and told me to keep as the return shipping would have been astronomical.

Price for this bed goes up and down for some reason. I got a queen sized one for $450. Shipping was quick and easy. I was super worried about the bed bug issue that they had in the past. I meticulously went over the whole bed to see if it had any or not, IT DID NOT.A monkey can put this bed together. Just don't over torque the bolts, snug is what your looking for. Like with other furniture you put together yourself if you start over torqueing bolts your going to have a bad time.The bed looks fantastic. If you like navy blue this is the bed for you. It's sturdy, I didn't place mine up against the wall as I placed a projector on top of the headboard so I wanted some space for the wires. It's still pretty sturdy. Overall a good buy for $450. Anything more than 450, just buy it from Silk and Snow. At least it's local.
