I was so happy to get these for our vet tech graduation party. We will have a treat/candy/favor bar with medical supplies. For example, IV bags filled with drinks, syringe pens, lab vials with candy inside, etc. These are to put their goodies in, basically a goodie bag. I love that you get 100 bags! That’s plenty enough for everyone. They are well made and just the right size. They even have the pouch that you would normally put your patient’s paperwork in that keeps it separate from the biohazardous material. They are almost exactly like the ones I use at work for biopsy specimens. The only difference is the four boxes on the bottom that say “stat, freeze, refrigerate, room tempâ€. I am assuming these are authentic and for use in medical practice. I am excited to set up our medical goodie bar with these!

From the photos and description, you can't tell exactly what you're getting. It seems like the second picture with the storage conditions printed on the bag is more likely, but the product description says they're orange, which matches the first picture.To clarify, yes, you're getting the second bag, with the storage conditions and the red biohazard symbol. They also include a sleeve on the back of the bag, probably meant to hold an information card on the material contained.While the product description says they're made of nylon, it's hard to tell their actual composition; they could just as easily be HDPE or LDPE. Regardless, they're *probably* made of a food-safe plastic, but bear in mind that what they're made of isn't clear, and they're not being sold for use with food. I would instead use these as props, or maybe as funny dog poop bags to take to the park. If you want to use them for something like Halloween treat bags, you might want to ensure there's no contact between any food and the bag itself, or at the very least, not use them with any wet foods.

Big caveat: I am not using these to actually store biohazardous materials, so I didn't do any kind of test to ensure they met some kind of specification for that.What I *do* use them for is, well, the humor value. They are quick thick and seal well, so they're great as freezer or fridge bags. Nothing impresses guests more than seeing you take some chicken cutlets out of a biohazard specimen bag, lemme tell you.Do take note of what I said about thickness — these are a lot better than your store-brand ziploc bags, so they really do a good job keeping food fresh ... and getting your friends to question your judgement.

Good size, convenient for containing and transporting biological samples. These bags seem strong and durable, shouldn't easily rip or become damaged. Great value for the money.

These bags hold up very well with storing items in the refrigerator or freezer.The bags come with a checklist printed on them to indicate the type of storage for the material sealed in the bag.I did not see a recycle label on the bags, so they are probably meant to be thrown in the trash after use.Aside from storing biohazard materials, these bags also make for great general-use bags, for storing food during fun events, sealing medical supplies, keeping items dry when traveling, or for many other applications.

I chose these bags, because at work, my coworkers are always messing with other peoples lunches and snacks. I tend to be sarcastic, so when I seen these bags, I knew I had to have them! I have had fun watching my coworkers reactions when the see the bags in our work refrigerator or laying on the table in our break area. These bags seal easily, like a standard ziplock bag would. These would also be fun to use for making Halloween party tray bags-

These are big enough that they can be used to seal the take home bags a relative is often given at the doctors. The bags that come with those are small, and often leak. These are good quality bags, and big enough to easily encompass the ones from the doctor. Glad to have them, and the price point is really good.
