I've used my paddle twice now. It's so much better than the practice paddles that are provided by the rotary club. I live the graphic on the front.

This is a nice paddle especially for the price. The first one sent had a cracked handle grip but a replacement was sent immediately. The paddle floats on the water. It weighs about 1.5 pounds, which is a pound light than the paddle I was using. The carbon fiber blade makes the biggest difference because the weight of the blade at the end of the shaft is what requires the most force to lift (its physics, if you know about vectors and moment arms you know what I’m talking about). The carbon fiber is really stiff so less force is lost, but at first I realized that my strokes were kinda sloppy. Once I got a feel for it my stokes improved and with it my speed.

The paddle is a bit heavier than I anticipated. This weight became noticeable after prolonged use, especially during long races or training sessions. It caused some fatigue and discomfort, impacting my overall paddling performance.
