I have been searching for Jean shorts for my husband that are affordable and that look nice. He has a slim build and these are the best fitting shorts that I think he has ever owned! They have a little stretch in them and are very well made. We will be buying ZLZ jeans next! I highly recommend these!

I have purchased three pairs of ZLZ pants and just got these shorts in recently. I really like ZLZ, they are comfortable, they look nice and are great quality. The stretch is perfect and allows me to work comfortably, I got these shorts because I don't like baggy shorts, and the opening around the leg looked like it had a slim profile. I'm like a lot of the other reviewers, I hate shorts that have wide leg openings they just don't look good to me. I'm really happy with these shorts, I wear them to work, they look nice, and are comfortable!

Very happy with these.After reading the comments that they run a bit big, I ordered a 31 inch, rather than my normal 32 inch waist. They fit perfectly, nice and snug, unlike all the “old man shorts†out there (I AM an old man, but respectably stylish).As mentioned in the comments, they are a little tighter in the rear, but since I have no butt whatsoever, these actually fit quite a bit better. If you're lucky enough to have a lot of “junk in your trunk,†you might want to go with your regular waist size. What I like most is that these are TRULY slim fit, really, more skinny fit, and don't have that horrible flowing skirt thing going on at the leg openings like most shorts do (see “old man shortsâ€.) I have really skinny legs, and this has always been a huge problem. These give you a nice silhouette, unlike everything so big, baggy, oversized and dumpy-looking.Some people have mentioned the large white ZLZ patch at the back. Design-wise, it truly does look horrible. REALLY horrible. They’d be better off using a neutral like black or gray than this attention-grabbing, completely out-of-place white. I simply used a seam ripper and some patience to remove it. It was really strongly attached; I hope that's a testament to all of the stitching on these shorts.These are some of the best-fitting shorts I've ever owned.Might get another pair.Well worth the money.

my husband has slim legs and does not like all the shorts with the big legs which most of them seem to have. these were a very good and comfortable fit! he was happy with them so we ordered more already !

The tan shorts are a nice denim fabric, with a trim long leg as shown in the photo. They wash well. We order 4 separate times to get 2 good pair of shorts. They are not consistently sewn in the size 34 tan. The 1st pairs back seam near the crotch was sewn crooked and tight and I needed to return it. It was a slim & long fit and looked nice otherwise. I reordered, the second pair was very nice to replace the 1st order. Ordered a third pair which was miss sewn again, the upper thigh on one leg bulges out with too much fabric. I want a second pair of shorts so I reordered a 4th pair to get another good one. Forth pair also had one upper thigh with a little too much bulge but ok so we kept them. These are nice shorts for slim people, but they are not consistently sewn well. For 5'10" they are about 1" above the knee. I bit long but ok. Bought in black, denim and tan.

Due to the stretchy fabric, these shorts fit BIG. Bought a 34. Should have bought one size down (32). Had to return it. Lost half the price paid in shipping from SG to LA..............
