I had to buy a new pan, when, after baking my 1st Winter loaf of bread, one of the paddle shafts locked up. When I bought the new pan, I found that it did NOT come with new paddles. I looked at my original paddles, which were probably close to 15 yrs old, and while they might have worked okay, I could see that they were wearing, allowing for extra 'slop'. So I purchased these replacements and baked a med. sized loaf of white bread yesterday to test them. They worked great.

I’m not sure why Zojirushi won’t make the coating on these more durable, but at least I have a source for them when the company is back ordered. At some point the coating begins to peel and when it gets bad enough I replace the paddles.Photo shows old peeling one in back of new one.

My old paddles wore out after many years, and these were exactly the same and perfect paddles. I made two loaves of bread as soon as they arrived.

I use my Zojirushi 2lb bread machine to make bread and dough. I love the machine, but not so much the paddles b/c of the nonstick coating. Here I am buying new paddles again only after 2 years since last replacement. The machine does such a good job of kneading the dough however, I will happily replace the blades. I wish there was an option for blades without the nonstick coating.

i was glad I shelled out the money to replace these. My old ones were looking sad and honestly, these replacement paddles have been easier to clean up than the originals and still look new after months of use. I use my bread machine daily, so I've come to realize I need to factor in replacing these every so often.

Sometimes I feel better buying from the original makers than repops. Parts from the original manufacturer always fit & work better.
