I've had a Zojirushi (or two) as my daily thermos for a couple decades - experiencing the different models as they've refined them over the years. They keep my morning tea piping hot for hours allowing me to slowly enjoy it. This latest model improves on the typical design by reducing one of the removable pieces in the lid and simplifying mouth/sipping component. There's zero difference in performance and seems to make cleaning/using the lid just that little bit easier.If you don't have a Zojirushi thermos and like your beverages hot, do yourself a favor and buy one. They all work nearly the same, so find the style/value that suits you.

I have lots of the smaller 12 ounce size in many colors. They are small, easy to carry, easy to drink from, easy to clean. I use the locking function when I want to be absolutely certain there are no leaks -- but I have never had any leaks whatever position the lock slide is in. The beverage stays cool in a hot car many hours without an ice cube. Or keeps beverages like coffee hot. I use two color coded for travel on planes and in cars-- one for cold beverages; one for cold.

Such a beautiful and great quality water bottle. I put ice and water in it and leave it at my nightstand. Ice still not all melt out in the morning. Long lasting for hot beverages too (be careful not getting your tongue burned because my morning coffee still hot as freshly brewed at noon). The only thing is I wish it comes with a handle.

Fits in my cupholder. Opens and shuts easily. Doesn't leak when the cap is closed or when I'm drinking. No weird plastic smell. Dishwasher safe. Perfect in all the ways I need it to be :) I never write reviews so it's a big deal that I did for this LOL

This is absolutely beautiful and functional. I bought it to replace my old Zojirushi mug I have been using for 6+ years. The old one I'm still using, but I left it at the temple over the weekend, and I need a leak-proof mug to go on a trip. So I bought this one, out of trust for Zojirushi! They maintained all the advantages of the old version, but made improvement on the cap. there are fewer parts on the cap, the cap doesn't fling water when i open, and the water comes out of the vent more smoothly. these are definitely improvements worth praising.However, I have only one concern about the new mug, which is the smell. I have washed the plastic parts in soap water, and washed the body of mug with boiling water for several times. however, there is always a faint smell when i drink the water from mug. i'm not sure if the smell comes from the paint inside the mug, or the plastic cap. I have been using the mug for 5 days, I hope the smell will go away eventually. otherwise I concern for my health.This Zojirushi mug is absolutely beautiful and functional. My partner loves this bottle. It's nice and small, so it fits in her car's cupholders, unlike almost every other mug we have. The quality is solid -- the buttons and lock have a satisfying click to them.

This is a great travel mug. Light weight. Seal is tight. It keeps my coffee as hot as it is from the coffee maker carafe for hours later. Even walking outside with it for 15min in below zero temperatures, the coffee stayed hot.

Always been a fan of zojurushi mug. Got the 16oz ones but wanted a small one for my coffee/tea. This was the perfect size for coffee on the go and I could toss it into my work bag/purse easily without taking up too much space. Always stay hot throughout the day. Love the new design where the mouth piece is a single piece and easy to wash. I tried many coffee mugs before this one and decided to go back to the trusty zoji brand.
