The item does not come with instructions, but it's three metal plates and two bolts, how hard can it be? The issue I did find with it was with the term "universal". I was planning to use it to mount a Radioddity DB20-G, but the radio is too small for this unit. I tried swapping around the L brackets in case that would change things, but they bump together in the centerI tried placing one bracket in front of the back plate and one behind, which would allow the radio to fit, but this kind of offsets the back play of you need a flush mount.All in all, with some creative work arounds, you can make it work, but out of the package it it not truly universal. For the price though, I couldn't go buy raw stock and make a bracket that's as clean as this, so it was worth a little hassle to me.
