I thought I'd give you a better idea of the size of these cups. They hold exactly 6 ounces. They were stacked together in columns and impossible to separate. I put them in some hot soapy water for about 30 minutes and that did the trick.

I am a second grade art teacher and I bought these water cups to help prevent spills during a painting lesson. In the brief amount of time I had to set up for the lesson, I was panicked to discover that the cups do not easily separate. They are completely stuck together and it took over 20 minutes for me to pull them apart. One of the lid caps was broken right out of the bag and a student got a tiny cut on his finger from the raw edge of another cup. The cups did perform well, holding up the brushes and there wasn't a spill. If I do use them again, I will need to stack them with a piece of paper between each one.

These are great for the price but they are cheap and I can tell they won’t last long. One of the lids came snapped already.
