Works great and keeps my turtle happy. My turtle actually appreciates the standardized feeding time, and is waiting at the feeder at the programmed time -- I used to just feed him when I woke up, which that time varied and wouldn't immediately eat the food. Now he eats immediately and expects it on schedule.The programming could probably be a little simpler, and I wish it had a sense of actual clock time, but it reliably feeds via the programming. It also reliably augurs the stick type food, which I thought it may only feed the spherical style food.No complaints! Very happy.

I had this automatic feeder for over a month now and it works great. I have 2 turtles, the feeder dispenses the turtle pellets pretty evenly for the most part. Although I would imagine the feeder would have a harder time to spend some evenly if the food was smaller.

We use this for when we leave on vacation for a few days. And I feel like it gives out way too much food. I'm still making adjustments and seeing which food is best to put in this. It's a work in progress.

New batteries were dead after 2,5 weeks. it is not acceptable, there must be some failure in this product. By manufacture it should last 6month

We love this because we travel pretty often and we don't want to worry about feeding our turtles. This feeder provides peace of mind. I will say you have to make sure you adjust the timer properly because the first time we tested it, all the pellets went into the tank. It was our fault though. But it works well.

Rediculous amount of food comes out even on low setting. Enough to feed many turtles. Extra food contamination makes water and filters black.

Compared to other auto-feeders I considered, I like the way this one distributes the food. It doesn't just rotate around and dump it in. You can adjust the length of time it distributes food too. Also, you can attach the food jar where the cap is for longer auto distribution. The timer for distributing the food works well and is so precise you could set your watch by it.The only con I found with this feeder is you don't know when the timer is set to release food unless you are the person to set it. After you set it and press the activate button, it immediately distributes the first feeding and will distribute each of the other feedings per the selection you choose over the next 12 hours. Then there is a 12 hour period of no feedings. The main problem is unless you see the feedings drop you really have no clue of when they are set to drop. A digital clock that would allow you to review the feeding times would be much more preferred over this analog type of scheduling.Other than that I really like the way this performs.

Just what I needed. Being able to screw in the whole bottle of food is genius. Works perfectly and the larger pellets it dispenses are too big for my fish to eat. I know my two adult RES will be fed and happy while I am gone.

Fonctionne bien. Par contre le distributeur donne beaucoup trop de quantité, nous donnons 8 granulé a notre tortue par jour (en deux fois) , hors là y'en a plus d'une vingtaine qui tombe en une seule fois ce qui lui ferait plus que le triple vu que le distributeur donne toute les 12heures. Vraiment dommage pour le prix !!!

Leider ist bei dem 3. mal füttern die Welle gebrochen da sich das Futter verklemmt hat. Es ist aber immer noch zu benutzen da die Transportwelle lediglich etwas kleiner ist und trotzdem das Futter noch nach draussen befördert

Feeding turtle when away for a few daysDifficult to figure out precise settings for feeding I.e., how many balls drop for each time frame - either too many/not enough and if turtle not hungry the food lays on bottom of tank - very messy @ a waste. It will take some experimenting to figure it out!!Securing screws in base very fragile!!!
