I highly recommend this moss for plants. It feels so much better than the other sphagnum I’ve used, is super clean, and very absorbent. The only problem is that it’s a little pricey imo, but that’s unfortunately just how it is with good sphagnum moss. I bought some of the cheaper stuff before this, and it smelled rancid and was filled with dirt, twigs, and leaves. I highly recommend going with this or a similarly high quality sphagnum to save yourself the trouble.

This is my preferred sphagnum moss. Natural & no dyes. Follow the directions & it retains moisture the best for my snakes & Leopard Gecko. The reptiles each gave a humid hide with this in it. You can reuse a time by just rinsing. I replace it after that. Great stuff!

I've used this excellent, fresh mix to replant my venus flytraps each August, and it's great. This is the one to get- high quality consistently.

Know it's billed as being for reptile cages (who knew? said the previous owner of a Burmese python), but I wanted sphagnum moss for orchid culture. Such said moss is at a premium if labeled as orchid media, and no where to be found at the time I ordered this. Seems to be "working" fine. . .

Nice produce over all, but really small quantity for the price. Boxes were all crushed up and the moss flew all over the place when I opened the main bag. Also took a long time to get it, would not recommend.
