I've had my 2 turtle docks for many years (10+) and the suction cups finally stopped working. I was considering replacing the docks when I found I could purchase replacement suction cups. The cups fit my old docks perfectly. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I bought these suction cups to use with my Rena water filtration system. As most aquarium enthusiasts are aware, the suction cups used to keep items in place will, over time, oxidize and become hard, rendering them useless. I searched the web for replacement cups (as well as visited PetSmart) but was unable to find suctions cups that fit the large pegs of the Rena clips. I read a blog online that suggested these cups as a substitute and gave them a try. They do work BUT it can be a little bit of work getting the peg into cup (suggestion: submerging the cup in hot water to soften the plastic seemed to help). Once they are assembled, they work as expected. I gave the product 4 stars because of the difficulty mentioned above, but I'm sure they work great for the function in which they were manufactured. They are made with a moderately soft plastic and adhere to the side of the aquarium very well.

I bought these to replace the suction cups for my XL Zoo Med turtle dock that I have probably been using for about 5+ years. I probably should have just replaced the entire dock but I'll wait to see if I can catch a sale for the XL dock and in the meantime I'll settle for just replacing the suction cups. These really do have great suction power and only really start to lose the effectiveness after 2-3 years pass, at least that's my experience with the Zoo Med suction cups.if you need some, make sure you buy a set when you see it around $5-6 for a set of 4.

I bought these to replace the suction cups on my turtle's dock. I was still using the original suction cups that came with the dock I bought over 5 years ago, but they just weren't sticking anymore. I hope these last another 5 years.
