I got this as a replacement filter to the, what appears to be, hand built air / oil filter system for an air compressor that was in my garage when I bought it. It’s a whole garage air system. I was starting to notice little bit of oil mist in the air when I was using it, so it was recommended to replace the filter. So far, this separator seems to be taking are of it. It’s a very large heavy filter. It’s a good bit bigger than the one I took off of it, but luckily the threads were the same.
