I currently have both a 60lb and a 75lb version of this bow, and I plan to order a heavier version fairly soon. I shoot them regularly--often 500-700 arrows each week--and I really enjoy them. These are not fancy bows, but they work and are priced so I can purchase heavier draw weights as I gain strength and ability. The wrapping for the grip is wearing out on both bows, but I figure I can replace that when needed. And, I'm going to need new strings soon, but that happens with all bows that are shot regularly.I do many types of exercise, but I find that shooting bows with fairly heavy draw weights is very good for muscle development, including back, shoulders, core, chest, and forearms. I also like the ability to shoot both left and right side, which develops the muscles on both sides. This also requires me use both sides of my brain, which I find very relaxing and meditative. All in all, these have been a great addition to my workout routines!

It’s fine except the round handle makes it ver difficult to hold the bow properly so the string doesn’t slap your arm. All my other bows have some contouring to their handles and I don’t have the string slap issue

I picked this up to use over the winter months when selfbows tend to break. It's a real tank, but the hand shock is a lot less of an issue than I feared. It's easy to use and you don't have to baby it. Accuracy is reasonable.

I’m using these as training bows to try and work up to a 150 lb draw weight. I’ve tried the elastic band draw weight trainers but they are very awkward to use. If you try this take it slow and remember that muscles strengthen before tendons. Don’t tear anything! The bows are very plain and simple but they are functional and much much cheaper than a yew warbow. I would prefer a leather or cord wrapped handle instead of the rubbery tape wrap that it comes with but that’s no big deal. It would also be nice if they offered them in a color that looked like wood too.
