I was a little nervous about getting the correct size after reading a few negative reviews about that, but it fit perfectly. Measured a 3†pipe opening and ordered a 3†plug. No more lawnmower blade decapitations to worry about as this one sits nice and flush.

Used to replace old cap that had a hole in it where the screw goes. it used a metal nut that rusted out, leaving a hole in the plug.This one is all plastic and is threaded for a 3/8 inch cap screw. works GREAT!

It fits a 3 inch cleanout, despite what others might have said. 3 inches is not the actual measurement, which I dislike, but the industry standard is accurate. My only gripe is that it's not very strong, like the original that was not countersunk, which is why I was seeking a replacement. The plastic is thinner and would probably break and fail if it was put under too much strain. Besides that, it works.

I had to replace a metal one. I’m a little deadly with a lawnmower and occasionally hit it with the blades. So the plastic one won’t damage anything when it gets shot across my yard.

No good for 3 inch drain, the description should indicate what size of drain I good for.
