The measurements were confusing, I did my best to show what arrived in a plastic envelope. These screws are just right to use with ratchet straps or other hook type lashing straps. These are intended to secure beehive equipment from falling over in the wind or animals from removing the top cover. My straps are rated at 500 lbs as light duty for luggage and other moderate tasks.. Drill a pilot hole and the screws go in easy and really hold well in framing lumber or pallets..These eyelet screws are rated for 200 lbs, another review failed to understand this rating with their livestock.

They are really sturdy and seem to stand up well to being banged against by a ladder, but they come in a very poor package where 8/9 broke open in the box, spilling the hooks out loose into the box with other items I had purchased. Luckily nothing else was damaged, but even my second order was mostly loose.They are also kind of pricey. I couldn't find much cheaper even at a local hardware store, but it just doesn't feel like a good value. It worked though.

I made string light poles and let me tell you, these saved the string light from the wear and tear also they were very durable once installed I haven't seen a problem yet..I installed these a while back and they are still looking good and holding up .

When I opened the brown shipping box, I found the small white box for this item was open. At first I thought I had not received any eye hooks at all, but then I discovered they had slid under the flaps of the shipping box. I’m guessing one slipped out of the package completely, because I only have nine eye hooks, not ten.The eye hooks seem to be of good quality.
