I’ve gone through a couple of the “normal†can crushers, mostly from overzealous friends who want to slam the crusher down hard. It usually breaks the handle, and thus the crusher.Not this one! I was pretty impressed out of the box, because it’s solidly built, and quite heavy. The mechanism is slightly different than the cheaper crushers, and it does tend to leave some cans not quite fully smashed, but you can really wallop those cans with this one, so your drunken buddy probably won’t break it quite so easily!

This can crusher is very well built and engineered. I've used other styles of can crushers that only lasted a few months because of poor design with too many areas in the linkage that can fail. This can crusher only has three linkage points that are well built. I would highly recommend this crusher. I only paid $10.00 more for this can crusher than the other crushers I previously purchased so it was well worth it.
