I care for an older family member who has had 4 strokes over the last 10 years. She has a fear of falling in the shower. I searched for a bathtub mat to be non-slip, attractive and fairly priced. We have a walk-in bathtub that has had a large portion of the side cut out for ease of entry with the hole replaced with a step that is twice the width of the side of the tub. It is a very awkward repair, it has made the tub narrower and unusable for a bath. Can only shower now. This mat fits perfectly, the brown mat looks like stones, very affordable and sticks nicely to the floor for a shower while being easy to hang over a shower chair to dry between showers. It is far prettier than the picture shown. Did I mention easy to clean? I will be purchasing another one. Support a small business.

Feels great on your feet and looks pretty in the tub! Good slip resistance and love that you can machine wash it! Easy installation and the suctions stick very well to the tub.

This is a nice mat. The color is as described. As for the raving review, it’s a shower mat. Nothing is wrong with it really. The real reason for this review is more to educate before purchasing by what I now know and experience. First and foremost, if you have a textured bottom of the tub/shower it will NOT STICK with the suction cups and hence defeat it’s real purpose. With that said, if you bring the back up so you can attach some of the suction cups to the smooth back wall part it makes the mat when standing on it too short, so if you plan on doing that get a longer mat as this is too short. Also, with the pebbled texture it is a hair catcher and stays there. I also feel with somewhat painful fasciitis this texture is not so comfortable on the bottom of my feet. But, it you have a non-textured surface and you don’t mind the other issues it’s not a bad mat.

Our bathtubs are very slippery, and on top of that we use products that contain EOs which can make the problem worse. I had previously bought a $10 bathtub mat from a local store, which was just plain clear rubber. However it was heavy-duty and worked great; basically it was what most of us think of when we hear "bathtub mat," almost like the floor mat in a car in thickness. We always pulled it out and hung it to dry, because otherwise our dog would play with it and also to keep it clean. My son forgot one day last week and somehow she ended up chewing a hole in it; hence my buying this one.It really is pretty. I got the translucent blue to match his bathroom decor, and it looks great. There's a bit less color to it than I expected (see photo for how see-through it is). The size is fine with me, because we only ever take showers and so just need a safe place for our feet.However, I hadn't considered that there might be bathtub mats that were made of a much thinner rubber. I expected this one to be *somewhat* less sturdy because of the pebbles design, but it's just super thin. I've used zip-close freezer storage bags that were thicker. When we first put it in his tub, it gripped fine and looked nice; but when we went to take it out and hang it up, the connections between the "pebbles" were very stressed and two of them popped.If you intend to put it into your shower/tub and then NEVER remove it again (say, so you can clean your bathtub?!?) then you'll be okay with this. Also, really pay attention to the listed dimensions because it's going to cover less than a third of most bathtubs. I think its best use would be for toddlers who no longer use baby baths, but are still a little unsteady in the big tubs. The benefits to it for them is that it really is very soft, and it's pretty/colorful.

Aqua mat to replace an old one that had seem better days. Perfect replacement! I had first ordered a different mat but canceled it because felt it was bigger than I wanted. This one is right fir me feels nice under your feet. Unrolled flat & ready to lay in the tub w/o issue. Definitely would recommend or purchase again! Very happy with the product reasonably priced too!

This is the best bath mat I’ve ever purchased. It actually stays suctioned down to the bathtub with no lifting. Easy to clean. Would definitely purchase again in the future if I need to.

This looks great in my tub. It's a littler smaller than I thought it would be but it serves it's purpose. Stays in place really well too.

I really like the texture. It is sturdy, comfortable on the feet. The only downside is it's kind of small. By the picture thought it was longer. But it works well.

A lot smaller than I’d thought but it looks very similar to the picture and about to use for the first time. Does not come with washing instructions though?
