Works great. Step on it with wet feet and it dries right up. Does not leak through to the underside of mat. Looks nice.

Quick dry , I actually really like this mat! The only dislike is the color kinda comes off on the bottom of your foot but is worth the buy

One thing I didn't realize is that this "mat" is actually solid stone. I've never had a diatomaceous mat before. I was expecting it to be a floppy rubber type mat, with a sandpapery surface. Nope, it's a solid chunk of rock with a sandstone type of feel.The bottom side is also slick and smooth, and could slide on your tile floor. But the package includes a couple of mesh rubber mats that you need to place under the stone mat. This prevents it from sliding around when you step on it.The most impressive thing about it is how it absorbs water. When I get out of the shower and step on to it, dripping water, the stone mat just absorbs all of it, without puddles. By the next morning it is completely dry.I will never use a fabric mat again. This is awesome!

I was browsing through Amazon and came across this, and was intrigued when I saw the name diatomaceous earth. We have used diatomaceous earth over the years to put into our buckets of Y2K food, so I had to look into this more when I read that in the name.A few people in our family seem to have a talent for soaking the entire bathroom floor and without fail, I seem to walk right through it in my sock feet and find the water immediately. This is slip resistant and perfectly functional!Guess what, there are no more puddles all over the floor! These dry mats seem to be very low maintenance and are very convenient for keeping things dry without any extra effort.It felt fragile when I took it out of the box, so I treat it like I do glass, but once you put it in place, I think you’ll like it.
