As General McAuliffe replied to the German demand to surrender the encircled Americans in Bastogne, NUTS!These hardened nuts have held up well as I have used them in conjunction with hardened bolts to remove my wheel bearings. They get repeated use every time I replace a wheel bearing.

A friend had a nut fall off that holds the blades on his brush hog. I went and measured for the size he needed and ordered this 1"-14 TPI (NF) grade 8 nut. It fit perfectly. And it was especially helpful that this was a grade 8.
