Worked better than expected. Drilled 7 holes through a groung contact 4 x 4 with little effort. Bit did not seem to dull at all. Great tool. Would definitely buy again

Packaging and stamp on the bit itself said 3/8 = 0.375 in, but the real size was 0.4 in, which I did not verify until I found the holes to be inexplicably way too big forcing me to improvise as I did not have more material to use.Customer service responds with "sorry for the experience, you can return the item", which is OK, so I did.Quality seemed OK, but I have no idea how to order from this company to get the correct size...

I needed a 10mm forstner bit to instal some barrel hidden hinges. So I needed a 10 mm hole with a flat bottom. First, the center spike for the bit is almost half the diameter of the bit and it sticks out about 4.5mm making this useless for thin stock. The machine work were the bit was cut out from round stock is super rough, it was not finished at all. Then I couldn’t get the hinges to insert in the test holes, I measured the bit and it is almost a half mm undersized. See picture. This looks like a Dollar store reject, it is useless, don’t buy it.

I had to cut four counterbored holes two of which were 80mm deep in solid oak to take 50mm spigots for a large table construction. This 50mm bit cut superbly well, nice clean cuts with a good flat bottom to the holes and were accurate to size. Used a pillar drill to get good vertical accuracy. I think this design of bit is superior to other designs and would recommend. Good price well packaged and arrived on time. Brilliant!

This forstner bit cuts really well compared to other, more expensive, ones that I have. However I ordered a 50mm bit for a job I was doing and after cutting found that the hole was not large enough. I measured with digital calipers and found that the bit was just over 1mm out. This may not sound much but caused an awful lot of extra work, wasted money on buying the forstner, wasted time and therefore less profit. A great bit if you just need a hole but if you need a specific size hole then beware.
