These mits are a real game changer for cold weather kayaking. Unlike gloves, you can have full grip of your kayak paddle while keeping your hands warm. I would suggest a paddle with a composite, not aluminum shaft to also assist with keeping your hands warm as aluminum will conduct cold into your hands.These are a must have for those who enjoy kayaking all year round and the price cannot be beat.

These are not plain black as pictured on the listing. They have HEYTUR written on them in huge bright green lettering - both pogies. Don’t buy these if you want plain black as pictured. Returned immediately.

I haven’t used them yet but there are exactly what I had in mind. I’m sure they will be perfect for my arthritic hands. The way it attaches to the oars should give me the grip that I need for paddling

We use these kayaking in very windy conditions. Our hands stayed warm and dry.

I used these on my ski which is a super long kayak use for competitions mostly in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa and the life guards here in USA.They work really good when the weather is cold I recommend them if you do any sport that uses a paddleand you practice when is cold outside.

The gloves are OK -- what is NOT OK is that they came with the word "HEYTUR" in neon lime-green painted on the back -- I almost returned them, but just painted over the "HEYTUR" instead. I DO NOT RECOMMEND - WOULD NEVER BUY FROM THIS VENDOR AGAIN!

These were great for my first time in a kayak. The helped keep the water off my hands, and keep a good grip on the paddle.
