I bought a wooden tongue drum which came with wooden drum mallets. This sounded too "clacky." I thought I'd give these a try and boy, what a difference. I am so glad I took a chance with these. They offer a deeper, richer and "softer" sound. They are very well-made, too. I would highly recommend these.

I recently purchased a pair of tongue drum mallets with fuzzy heads , and I have mixed feelings about the product based on my experience.**Quality and Construction:**First off, I must commend the overall quality of the mallets. They are well-made and sturdy, with a comfortable grip that feels good in hand during play. The rubber mallet heads are soft enough to protect the instrument's surface while still providing a solid hit, making them suitable for tongue drums and handpans.**Performance:**However, I found that the sound produced by these mallets did not significantly differ from other rubber mallets I’ve used in the past. This was a bit disappointing, as I was hoping for a discernible enhancement in tonal quality or resonance compared to other mallets. The sound is decent but lacks the unique characteristics that would justify a more significant investment.**Price Point:**On the plus side, the price is reasonable, making them an affordable option for those new to percussion instruments or looking for a basic set of mallets. However, given that I could not detect a noticeable difference in sound quality, I personally would not choose to purchase them again.**Conclusion:**In summary, these tongue drum mallets are of good quality and a great entry-level choice for those starting with percussion instruments. However, if you’re looking for a distinct sound enhancement, you might want to explore other options. For me, while they get the job done, they didn’t inspire enough motivation to invest in another pair down the line. If you're more focused on value and practicality, they could still be worth considering. As they are functional and easy to use. The size seems normal and weight is not to heavy.

These sound so much better on my tongue drum that the junk they send for you to play it with. Worth the buy if you are really wanting to learn and sound good while doing so.

As soon as the first tap each end cap flew off. Shoddy. Too much trouble to return.

These are a cool concept and would prob work decently if they hadn't fallen apart during shipping. They're just cheaply made and the tops pop off. Will be returning.
