Very easy to assemble and works great. Price was really good as well. Most of the one star ratings are because people don't know what they are doing and break the switch. Just take your time and it is very easy.

The design of ALL of these switches is really bad but unlike the prvious one I bought I was at least able to get this one to work. There's a printed statement on the plastic that implies there's some kind of release mechanism to allow you to insert the electrical wires to make the necessary connection but there's zero moving parts to allow easy access so you have to insert the cable into the TINY hole & just hope it'll stay there because there's nothing to hold it in place. I've been using mine for about a month now and it's still working fine but I'm fully expecting the wires to dislodge at some point in the future tbh.

I bought this to replace the switch on an IKEA LED floor lamp with flexible neck. The switches on the IKEA lamps are junk and cause the light to flicker. This switch was the perfect fix. Easy to install. I recommend tinning the tips of both wires before inserting them into the switch mechanism - it makes a strong connection that way.

Very Cheap - poor quality - do not trust it the wire connections are push in not set in place with a screw - do not trust it - removing's and replacing with a better quality unit
