These are not perfect, but should work well for removing fish hooks from fish with small mouths. I deburred them with a file, so I would not abrade the fishing line -- it didn't take much work. I would have given 5 stars IF the jaws came together a little better -- they're not terrible, but not perfect, either. Again, they should work well for pulling fish hooks. I was pleased to see the 25-degree angle -- that should work well for getting into the throat of Hardhead catfish.

I had a specific task that required a little more reach than my current tool options - these worked great! I know many times in the past that this would have been perfect, now I am set!Seemed to be great quality comparable to my other tools. I will typically add tools that are at a level they will never need replaced - these hit that mark.

The rubber coating on the handle is super thin and tears very easily other than that they are what they are

Contrary to the intended purpose of these pliers, I use them to help me put on my shoes! I am partially disabled and cannot bend in order to put on shoes. Before I found these pliers, I was forced to wear only shoes that were slides, even in rain or snow!! I can now wear tennis shoes by grabbing the tan/loop at the heel with my pliers and pulling them on! Wow! I still have to wear bungee-type laces, but that’s fine with me.

As a maintenance tech for a apartment community. Was kinda worried about the price with quality. But this was perfect and works great. Perfect for those hard to reach places like garbage disposals etc.
