This hand rail looks great when installed. The hinge used to allow the installation is well built and importantly, not conspicuous when installed. The hardware and finishes are of good quality.

This was purchased mainly for it's aluminum construction because it is being used around saltwater. Very well made and the hand rail is all aluminum. Unfortunately the mounting hardware is plain old steel. I had to spend $14 for new stainless steel concrete sleeve anchors and nuts plus the M6 screws that attach the rail supports are steel. Plus I had to buy an additional concrete drill bit because I couldn't find metric sleeve anchors. The mounting base is where all the water gathers and will most certainly develop rust stains on your concrete. The product is well built, fit and finish was good and packaging was just okay (1 leg broke thru the box from shipping).

By design, the kit we received has posts of different lengths, which is an issue if installing on treads with equal risers. The bottom at the nosing was 5" higher than the top at the nosing.Everything is riveted together thus you cannot disassemble, cut, and reassemble. This did not match the dimensions in the listing either.The top post is 32.6 and bottom longer post is 37.2"

Throw the drill bit away and purchase a good one at the hardware store before you start. I used the cheap concrete anchors that came with it but that’s a decision you will have to make. For my installation they will not stay wet. Other than that it’s a great item. It is aluminum with stainless steel bolts. I expect it to last a long time.

Sleek looking railing. Got for 3 concrete steps in front of house. Takes a bit to install (mostly due to our concrete) but sturdy once up.
