This was exactly what I was looking for to seal up a rough cut metal edge. It bends easily and has good sticky inside surfaces. I used it to go around a 12 round hole on a 1/16†metal surface to hold a 20 lb propane tank.

this product is terrible using the double sided tape was a mistake once you remove the tape it sticks together ... also a very poor quality material... picture doesn,t tell the true story.

Worked fairly well for our project which was replacing a gasket around a headlight lens on a Fisher snowplow. This product was the closest we could find to the original gasket (which wasn't available through Fisher). It was a little thick and my husband had to clamp everything together to squish flat the excess thickness. He says no way that going to leak now! Oh, a heads up on the cleaner packet that is supplied with the rubber trim. I think the product is acetone rather than alcohol so it fogged up the lens and took the sheen off the plastic where I over-wiped the area where the trim was to be put. Big letters that say Acetone, or whatever would have helped that mistake.
