Base for metal spindles to deck or stairs. Finish the look on the spindle when it meets the place of attachment. Well made based. Very easy to install and looks polished.

The shoes seem nice enough they look good with my balusters...in fact my balusters look justc like the ones in the photos with the spiral fist in them. I like the way they add detail and the appearance of strength to the balusters. But the fact is they are not FOR strength - and they do add a step over just using adjusting slant type shoes with actually do screw down - but provide less adornment- its kind of like this shoe and the additional peices you need are deconstructed version of the slant shoe - but with the slant shoe you actually will have the one step - can you put these shoes OVER THE SLANT SHOES??? I dont know that may be my next order though as I'm now wanting to compare all the possible systems to fix these balusters I want to make them safe and stout for safety 1#For looks #2 .So I was confused about these and I want to clear up anyone else's confusion as well because -I read reviews on similar items ( I mean really just like these) where reviewers were saying these were going to make install "EASIER" and how much better these are was to "whittling square holes" im sorry what ...What? So here we go -1) these do not secure the baluster in any way! These do not change any work you are going to do to secure your balusters !These are adornments , that double as a way to hide the drilled and filled holes or "whittled" holes ( but why on earth would you when you still need to epoxy to avoid a loose feel to them- i do not recommend whittled square holes- ok) Or you have the additional hardware and screws that will secure your baluster. Ok 👌2) These DO hide/ cover/ decorate/ complete the baluster look and may provide a higher end look over seeing the securing hardware or the holes the baluters sit in or on . Basically they will hide this from view..much like baseboard trim does for wall/ floor intersectionsTo secure the baluster you will either A) Buy additional hardware ( inserts ) that will fit up inside the baluster and get screw mounted to the surface. These maybe long like those in pics or (Ive seen only) very short inserts on my intial search today.. Im learning about how to install these as i go .. I will figure it all out .. people are making it hard though ..The picture in the description calls these inserts "connectors" . I felt it was a little unclear if they are included when I ordered or if these shoes themselves somehow screwed to the floor through the bottom. I was unsure if the other other "connector" was just for extra stregth/ safety or something I had to have .... and I ask and hope this is made clear in a revision of details. Please ðŸ™Next option - from you tubeB) Drill oversized round holes at set depth-then epoxy (or other wise fix) the baluster into the holes - tip don't epoxy them until you have the shoes on , don't forget one you better love these cause you are not changing them..likely ever ..Pro and cons for each of these scenarios are many.. I'll let you decide what those are issues for you. ..For me cost of more hardware feels disappointing 😞and another tedious step has suddenly surfeaced ugh... However the idea of epoxying means you will be never removing these most likely so you better really loooove them...and theres no room for missing peices or mistakes during assembly cause you will not be adding one after🤣 Also there is the loss of height to be concidered ..Epoxy is definitely strong support though no worry of your kids falling through because of loose screws!Other hand I like the inserts in the pictures I feel that would add alot of strength to each baluster but I also feel that strength maybe undermined by the 2 screw attachment that is easy to come loose for kids to mess with .. same goes for the slant shoes setup..So that what I have I don't know what I'm going to do at this time - I was trying to find the inserts or connectors they show in pics but I don't see them yet. I guess im going to keep an eye out for addditional methods while gatheing the reminder of the pieces needed to evaluate this system with the inserts and cover shoes.I do wish these covers just lag screwed to the floor from underneath do - insert baluster- do the same on hand rail lay on top of set balusters- story board would be needed to make sure everything aligned but I feel like that would be strong, hidden and less steps. Overall these are a nice product for what they do actually do and the end result will be nice in appearance whatever way you go for securing - its possible there are more methods - as I said I'm still exploring options.. hope this help some people looking and trying to decide as well . I look forward to continuing down this rabbit hole to find the perfect solution for me and will be checking out more videos and gathering different fixing hardware. I would order these again as they do seem essential to trim out the fixing method and finish the look for achigh quality install.

The Black Baluster shoes by Wemily gave the balusters I was working on a professional finished look. The black matches my balusters perfectly. They all arrived in nice condition without any blemishes. These shoes are for aesthetic use to cover up the baluster insert fitting or drilled holes that the baluster goes in.

I needed more baluster shoes to complete a project and these are identical in size, shape and color to my other ones. You simply slip them up the baluster before installation and then slide them down and secure them with the included screws. These shoes are for cosmetic purpose only, neatly covering the baluster insertion point. They are made of metal with a nice uniform satin black finish. These shoes fit my 1/2" balusters perfectly.

These fit the 1/2 inch balusters perfectly and make installation easy. I love that the shoes for the balusters fit right over, and cover, the connectors.
