There are flexible, easy to use on most any of our luggage or even foot lockers. You can set the same combination on them all. Very usable. I have used these for years and am adding some more as they disappear, sometimes, in between trips (kids use them elsewhere). Nice for travel as they have the TSA quick lock so you don't have to open it for them. They are pretty sturdy (ones from Walmart have broken on us). I assume they would be easy to bypass but someone would just steal your luggage if they wanted, this is more to keep the luggage closed and keep theft from happening in transit (before these, we had items stolen at the airport, perhaps by workers handling baggage).Update. It's been two years. They still work well. Will add another star.

We took a holiday to Dubai and the Philippines. Eight flights altogether, these were perfect. I had never used a lock with a cable before and found these to be much easier to use than the metal bar kind. After you enter the unlocking code, you have to press a button on the top of the lock for it to open. After you are done with the lock, you don't have to be careful with the combination when you close it. The combination you first set the lock to will remain as the unlocking code. You don't have to worry about what numbers are where when you lock it. It is set and won't change by accident when you lock it. I liked that, very secure. One of the locks had a problem with a conveyor somewhere along the line and was pretty beaten up with rubber burns, (like a road after a burn out). But as Times says, "It took a licking but kept on ticking". For anyone younger than 30, that means it continued to perform flawlessly. The length of the cables allowed me to link three together when at a hotel, very handy and impossible to do with the solid bar locks. As an aside, the orange color helped identify our bags at the crowded airport luggage claims. Well worth it!

Bought these for a family trip to Europe, they seem very study and well made. I like the flexible cable vs. Hard metal loop, it has more give and less likely to break if dropped or abused by a baggage handler. These fit through the zipper in our Osprey backpacks and Osprey luggage/duffel, tried them through a couple hardcase roller bags(Samsonite and American Tourister) and all fit. The cable end is 4mm or 1/8 inch in diameter. I was able to program with new code easily. I used a nail through a board to simply program all 10 locks quickly, without fumbling around trying to push in the rest button and set code at the same time. Great price for 10 locks too!

We intended to use these locks for our terrariums and decided to buy based off of a very helpful review that described the actual cable dimensions. Left a review to show to anyone else who may be looking at these for the same purpose. They fit both styles of our exo terra terrariums. The gapped door handles are tight and have just enough room to be in the position in picture 1 but work just fine, Cheaper than the exo terra locks. Super easy to set the combo and so far lock and unlock smoothly. Would definitely recommend.

The locks worked great on our Osprey Backpacks for traveling. Very nice. They feel sturdy and work well. My only complaint is that when there is bright light or in low light, like a hotel room or outside by a shuttle, you can't read the numbers and it becomes very hard to enter the combination. Overall I give a good review but I wouldn't buy the locks again based on the difficulty to read the numbers under anything other than ideal lighting. - other than that great locks.

I bought these to lock up ammo boxes, gun cases, suitcases. I really like the cable vs. solid loop. Makes it much easier to maneuver them on and off. Easy to set new combos. The tumblers seem a little sloppy but so far no issues at all. These will absolutely deter the casual snoop or thief, which is really all they are designed to do. I like them.

We upgraded because the typical small locks with the little bitty off hook on top. Especially when you're connecting two zippers together, it will barely reach each side. These have a big loop on top.It goes a lot further to reach each zipper together. Were happy!
